Matchpoint Catering Services was born from twenty years of culinary experience.

We are known for our distinct and inventive cuisine characterized by the fusion of Asian & Filipino flavors and influenced by European & Mediterranean styles and taste.

We provide catering services for all occasions, from intimate gatherings to big banquets of 500 persons or more. We prepare custom-made packages based on the unique requirements and budget of clients. We also do packed meals, food orders, and other client-specified menu packages.

Matchpoint’s cuisine was developed by two prominent personalities in the food industry, namely:


Known to be from a family of food royalty and scion of Filipino culinary icon Nora Daza, Sandy has always been a champion of professionalism in the pursuit of culinary concerns and activities.

A food columnist, food critique and consultant, Sandy is also actively involved in fast food operations, food processing, and product research and development.


Luchie Jimenez is the owner and manager of Matchpoint Catering Services. She is a Hotel and Restaurant graduate of the University of the Philippines who had management and culinary training abroad.

Jimenez was Industrial Partner at East of Suez, an award-winning restaurant located at the Lakes Region of New Hampshire and one of the more popular summer resorts in the United States. Operated and owned by Mr. Charles Powell, himself an Executive Chef and a member of the prestigious American Culinary Federation, the East of Suez has been listed as one of the Top 100 restaurants in the USA. The restaurant operates only during the summer season and caters primarily to transients and tourists in the East Coast area.

Jimenez was also one of the incorporators of Sandy Cooks Production, Inc. which handled the concession of the International School Manila, otherwise known for its stringent and meticulous standards for food quality and customer service.


Although she may be the newest addition to the Matchpoint family, Alex is no stranger to the food business. Being a third generation foodie, Alex has been exposed to the catering business since she was a child.

A graduate of Ateneo de Manila University, Alex has taken over the marketing side of the business and has interjected a fresher, more modern approach to an otherwise traditional business.

Matchpoint covers a wide range of clientele base. It has had the distinct opportunity to service such functions attended by former Presidents Corazon Aquino, Fidel V. Ramos and Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and other state dignitaries. Other clientele covers a number of established and discriminating entities, such as distinguished members of the business sector, as well as local celebrities and politicians.
